Welcome ...


I am Lorenzo Lapis Lazuli and this is where I live, on the alchemist’s pillow.

Why the name and why the space? —  you may well ask, and the truth is that I do not know and have no ready answer. Largely, this will be a personal voyage, in the company of those who care to join in, perhaps to help discover exactly that ... why the name and why the space?

I offer this pillow as a place to rest and dream. Fearing I myself have little in the way of inspiration and guidance to give you, I will, for now, settle on mainly providing snips and dabs of what inspires me in the worlds of music, poetry, art, literature, astronomy …

So this space will be mainly fed on what I borrow from others, with fruits I gleefully and gratefully pluck from much richer orchards than my own, admittedly with the faint but resilient hope that my own harvest will be enriched as well and that I, too, will bear fruits worth sharing with you. Perhaps you will want to contribute your own offerings or bits you find inspiring. Together, we can pad the pillow …
